About Us

The story started as two buddies from New Jersey who shared a common interest in photography. Like you, we enjoy the digital age, which results in easy access to countless pictures. But too often we would think: "This picture would be perfect only if...". Have you ever thought the same? The precious moments represented by some not-good-enough pictures, e.g. graduations, weddings and even a baby's first walk, would not come again.

We tried "easy to use" self-service tools like Google Picasa and Picnik. We invested loads of time and money into buying and learning how to use pro-tools such as Photoshop. But eventually we realized that, just like dealing with cars, we could handle the easy tasks but did not have the time or expertise to handle the more complicated and sophisticated work. While we believe everyone deserves a magazine-cover-ready, gorgeous picture for an occasion, we don't think it should cost an arm and a leg. Businesses could also use professionally retouched pictures and they shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars.

We set out on a journey and started our company, Fixsr, in hopes of removing all of the frustration when it comes to photos. We are fortunate enough to work with a group of highly talented professionals and are amazed to see how they turn ordinary pictures into truly terrific ones.
